David Stempler

David Stempler is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and financial advisory services. Currently serving as Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since June 2010, David specializes in specialty lending, special situations lending, illiquid investments, and mezzanine and preferred equity investments, with a global focus on Europe and the U.S. Prior to this role, David was a Director at Capstone Advisory Group, providing financial restructuring advisory services from January 2009 to June 2010, and held the position of Vice President at Citigroup from January 2001 to January 2009, where responsibilities included global principal investments, leveraged loan syndication, and asset-based lending within technology, media, and communications banking.
