Charlie Nunn

Chief Executive, Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC

Charlie Nunn was appointed Chief Executive, Wealth and Personal Banking in February 2020. He leads a global business serving the personal banking and wealth needs of HSBC clients worldwide. Mr Nunn previously served as Chief Executive of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, which was combined with Global Private Banking to form Wealth and Personal Banking in February 2020. Since joining HSBC in 2011, he has held a range of leadership positions including Head of Group Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Group Head of Wealth Management. He was appointed as a Group Managing Director in January 2018. Mr Nunn has extensive financial services experience, having worked in the industry since the early 1990s. He began his career at Accenture where he worked for 13 years in the US, France, Switzerland and the UK and became a Partner. He then moved to McKinsey & Co as a Senior Partner.
