Aileen Kitching is an Irish medical graduate with over a decade of experience in clinical medicine across Ireland, Scotland, and Australia, including work with Médecins sans Frontières in post-war Liberia. They completed a two-year EPIET fellowship in field epidemiology from 2007 to 2009 and have held various public health positions, focusing on communicable disease control and health inequalities. Currently, Aileen serves as a Consultant in Public Health Medicine in the Department of Public Health in Cork, Ireland. They also actively contribute as a Trustee for The Traveller Movement and previously served as President of the EPIET Alumni Network.
