Elizabeth Mendonca

Elizabeth Mendonca, CA has a diverse work experience in the field of tax. Elizabeth started their career as a Tax Specialist at KPMG Canada in 1995 and then worked as a Tax Manager at Ernst & Young from 2000 to 2003. Elizabeth later joined Geac as a Corporate Tax Manager from 2003 to 2004.

Elizabeth then moved on to become the Director of Tax at Xstrata from 2004 to 2008. Elizabeth further expanded their expertise by serving as the Director of Tax at Kinross Gold Corporation from 2008 to 2012.

In 2013, Elizabeth became the Senior Tax Professional at Mendonca Consulting for a brief period before joining Sherritt International Corporation as the Director, Global Tax. Elizabeth held this role for eight years, from 2013 to 2021.

More recently, Elizabeth worked as the Senior Director Tax at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from June 2021 to November 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Tax at Hudbay Minerals Inc., a position they started in November 2021.

Elizabeth Mendonca attended the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
