Jana Leigh Thomas

Jana Leigh Thomas currently serves as Vice President of Southeast Region Business Development at Humana, focusing on health equity and wellness initiatives in the Southeast. Previously, Jana held various leadership roles at Porter Novelli, including Executive Vice President, where significant contributions were made to transform the agency into a purpose consultancy. Other positions at Porter Novelli included Senior Vice President, leading the Health & Social Impact practice, and Vice President, overseeing social marketing campaigns. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Director for PeachCare for Kids at the Georgia Department of Community Health, where Jana successfully launched a program providing healthcare coverage to uninsured children. Jana's career also encompasses time as Deputy Director at Florida Healthy Kids Corporation, supporting multiple states in developing child healthcare coverage programs. Jana holds a Master of Public Administration and Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in German from Florida State University, along with an Associate of Arts in German from the University of Central Florida.
