Susan Basso

Susan Basso is an experienced leader in human resources, currently serving as Managing Director at Huron since May 2021, focusing on executive advisory services in organization transformation. Prior to Huron, Susan held the position of Senior Vice President for Talent, Culture, and Human Resources at The Ohio State University, overseeing a large HR team and leading a successful HR transformation initiative. Additional experience includes roles as Vice President for Human Resources at Penn State University, Associate Vice President of Human Resources at Seton Hall University, and Director of Human Resources at East Stroudsburg University, where Susan contributed to various strategic human resources initiatives and systems implementations. Basso’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Resources Administration from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ursinus College.
