As the firm’s Chief Talent Officer, Cam ensures their attorneys and administration are integrated, trained, developed and mentored—in position to ensure their individual success and the success of their clients.

Cam develops and leads the firm’s comprehensive talent management strategy, incorporating professional development, coaching, retention, performance management and succession planning. In addition to serving as the executive team’s thought leader on talent development and retention strategies, she directs training for both attorneys and staff and oversees key programs and initiatives, such as the firm’s Attorney Mentorship Program, Lawyers Academy, New Partner Orientation and Servant Leadership Program & Initiative.

Cam knows that the firm’s success is based on ensuring that our team members are in the best position possible to succeed. Her aim is to support and cultivate an environment where all professionals feel integrated, inspired and aware of how to thrive on delivering for clients. She especially values collaboration and frequently works on talent development initiatives with teams across the firm, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Human Resources; Growth; and Client Development.

Prior to her role as Chief Talent Officer, Cam served as Managing Director of the firm’s Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a team of more than 150 attorneys. Her previous position also included managing recruiting and attorney career growth, working closely with attorneys and staff at all levels, and coordinating with teams throughout the firm.

Before joining Husch Blackwell, Cam gained executive experience on the leadership team at a Milwaukee-based investment firm and led operations, investor relations and marketing communications for a top 50 global hedge fund.
