Marcelo Ferrero

Marcelo Ferrero is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering and process design. Currently serving as President and Executive Director at Plant Design S.A. since September 2012, Marcelo leads initiatives in solvent extraction, biofuels, and separation technologies within the chemical process industry. Marcelo's career spans several roles, including Advisory in Process Engineering and Process Engineering Manager at Hytech Ingeniería, along with a background as a Process Engineer in a petrochemical company. Additionally, Marcelo has academic experience as a university lecturer in numerical analysis and computing at Universidad Nacional del Litoral between February 1984 and March 1989. Marcelo earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Litoral from 1981 to 1988.
