David Ibnale

David is a Founding Partner and the Managing Partner of AVP. He has over twenty years of experience as an investor in small and mid-sized growth companies in the technology, media and communications sectors. Prior to co-founding AVP, David was a Managing Director of TPG Growth, the growth equity and middle market investment platform of TPG, where he led the firm’s global technology investing effort. Prior to joining TPG Growth, David was a Partner at Francisco Partners, and began his investing career at Summit Partners.

David is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of Above Average, Compass, Nativo and UCT (Nasdaq: UCTT), and is involved in the Firm’s investments in EVRYTHNG, Gigya and Mediamorph.

David received an AB in Public Policy and an AM in International Development Policy from Stanford University, and received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
