Andrew Allen

Andrew Allen has a diverse work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Andrew currently holds the position of Director - European Operations at HMM since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Hapag-Lloyd AG where they held various roles including Terminal Partnering Director, Projects Director, Director of Operations in different regions such as Global Program Lead, Germany and Central Europe, Canada, UK, and Ireland. Andrew also had experience at London Gateway (DP World) as an Operations Shift Manager and at Maersk Line as a Navigator for Terminal Partnering Project. Previously, they worked at Tilbury Container Services (DP World) and Tilbury Container Services (P&O Ports) as a Terminal Shift Manager and Terminal Controller respectively.

Andrew Allen attended the University of Sunderland from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bsc Hons degree. Additionally, in December 2013, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport from The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.
