Richard Rivera

Richard Rivera is an accomplished nonprofit executive with extensive experience in educational program development and youth empowerment. Currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at the "I Have A Dream" Foundation since November 2020, Richard Rivera focuses on enabling under-resourced children to achieve higher education through skill development and financial support. Previously, Richard Rivera co-founded and led Kura Labs, a job placement academy for underserved students, and held key leadership roles at HERE to HERE, Goddard Riverside Community Center, and Kingsborough Community College, where initiatives led to significant improvements in student retention and graduation rates. Richard Rivera holds an MPA in Public Administration from Baruch College, a Master's degree in Urban Affairs from Hunter College, and a BA in Political Science from Syracuse University.
