Dave Savarie

Dave Savarie currently serves as SVP, General Counsel at i-80 Gold Corp since November 2024. Prior to this role, Savarie was VP, General Counsel at Argonaut Gold Inc. from February 2023 to December 2024. Between January 2011 and February 2021, Savarie held the position of SVP, General Counsel, Corporate Affairs & People at Teranga Gold Corporation, which focuses on West African gold mining. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel at Gabriel Resources Ltd from December 2006 to November 2010, where efforts contributed to the development of a major gold deposit in Romania, and as Corporate Counsel at Patheon Inc. from August 2003 to December 2006 within the pharmaceuticals industry. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Western University.
