Nagaraja Prakasam

Nagaraja (Naga) Prakasam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, investment, and mentorship. Currently an author at Penguin Random House India since July 2023, Prakasam has been a partner at Acumen Fund since 2012, serving as a board director at Gaurdian, a portfolio company focused on water and sanitation access through microfinance. As a founding angel and lead investor at Indian Angel Network, Prakasam supports multiple startups across various sectors. Prakasam co-founded and serves as chairman of NATIVELEAD, a non-profit dedicated to fostering innovation in entrepreneurship in Tier II and III regions. Additionally, Prakasam advises numerous startups at NSRCEL, IIMB, and holds board positions with several organizations, including Farmers Fresh Zone, Carbon Masters, GoCoop, and Saahas Zero Waste. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Kennesaw State University and San Diego State University, along with a B.E. from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
