Marta Carmena

Marta Carmena currently serves as the Head of Operations Data & AI and Lead Data Scientist at Iberia since June 2022. Prior to this, Marta held the position of Senior Data Scientist at TENDAM from October 2020 to June 2022, and at McKinsey & Company from August 2018 to October 2020, where responsibilities included leading data science initiatives. Early in the career, Marta gained experience as an Intern - Jr. Data Scientist at Weplan app, focusing on data structuring and machine learning model development. Marta's professional journey began with a Junior Consultant role at Deloitte Spain, enhancing statistical risk models for financial services. Educational qualifications include a Master in Big Data Analytics and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics and Business from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, complemented by international study in Statistica per l’economia e l’empresa at Università degli Studi di Padova and a background in technological studies.
