Marisa Porges

Marisa Porges currently serves as Chief of Staff to Rob Thomas at IBM, overseeing strategic initiatives and operational projects within the software and global sales teams. Prior to this role, Porges provided strategic guidance on education and technology policy as a Senior Advisor at Opportunity Labs. Porges led The Baldwin School as Head/CEO, managing a midsize educational non-profit institution, and held a position as Senior Advisor and White House Fellow at The White House, where oversight of technology policy and cybersecurity strategy was key. Porges also contributed as an Associate Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, focusing on national security. Porges holds a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from Harvard University and a PhD in War Studies from King's College London.
