Katie Riley-Schwarz

Katie Riley-Schwarz began their work experience in 2000 as a Project Controls Specialist at Lucent Technologies, where they supported a telecommunications Project Management team and developed a small application for data reporting. In 2004, they joined Cotiviti, later purchased by General Dynamics Commercial Health, as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and implemented a Case management application and ported an existing .NET application to Angular front-end. Since 2019, Katie has been working at Imagine Believe Realize, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer and Deputy Chief Software Engineer. Katie is involved in consolidating multiple programs into a single solution using the Liferay platform, communicating across functional areas, promoting the product to production systems, and supporting troubleshooting efforts.

Katie Riley-Schwarz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from Stevenson University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Katie then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Distributed Computing at The Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Katie obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in March 2023. Katie also attained the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2018, and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from the same institution in October 2020.
