Danielle Picarello

Danielle Picarello is an Associate Computational Scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing on analyzing whole genome and exome sequencing data related to Autosomal Dominant Alzheimer’s Disease. Prior experience includes roles such as Research Assistant at Lehigh University, where molecular dynamics simulations for drug discovery were developed, and various positions that enhanced academic support and community engagement among students. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering with a focus on Biocomputations from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Degree in Biocomputational Engineering and the Politics of Health. Additionally, a solid foundation was built through early roles in tutoring, customer service, and patient caregiving, contributing to a well-rounded skill set in technical and interpersonal areas.
