Weidong Jin

Weidong Jin, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at iCapital since August 2022. Prior to this role, Weidong held the position of Chief Innovation and Research Officer at SIMON Markets LLC from December 2018 to September 2022, where the focus was on enhancing financial advisors' access to structured investments through a technology-driven platform. Weidong's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Vice President at Goldman Sachs from January 2004 to December 2018, specializing as a quantitative analyst in Equity Exotics Derivatives and CVA, leading efforts in the development and growth of various financial products. Weidong holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and both a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
