Chris Boulton

Chris Boulton's work experience includes a current role as the Principal Compliance Specialist at ICON plc, where they are involved in assessing privacy impact assessments, driving improvement of privacy-related controls, and managing GDPR compliance efforts. Prior to that, Chris worked at SAS as a Senior Business System Analyst and a Principal Business Operations Specialist, where they managed projects related to international trade compliance, anti-corruption, and privacy. Chris also served as a Sr. Project Manager and Manager at SAS, overseeing the integration of a newly acquired business and managing the creation of interactive educational courseware. Before joining SAS, Chris worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Netscan Technology and as the General Manager at Tar Heel Sports Marketing.

Chris Boulton obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1978 to 1982. They also have several certifications, including the OneTrust Incident Response Management Expert, OneTrust Data Subject Requests Expert, Excel: Introduction to Macros and VBA, OneTrust Assessment Automation Expert, OneTrust Certified Professional, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2013.
