Ujjal K Basu Roy

Ujjal is a Senior Vice President, Investor Relations at ICR and works across the broader Energy and Industrials practices. He specializes in driving internal and external stakeholder value for new and established companies across their public lifecycle, including SPAC and IPO transactions. Ujjal focuses on establishing investor relations programs for newly listed public companies, fine-tuning established investor relations programs for maximum effectiveness and value addition, and providing ongoing engagement for special projects.

Prior to joining ICR in 2021, Ujjal was Vice President, Investor Relations at BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald where he was the point of contact for the financial community for both the companies. In addition to in-house investor relations program management for 15 cycles, his areas of expertise include capital raises via equity and bond issuances, spin-off of a subsidiary, acquisitions, special situations, rating agency communications, Analyst Day execution, and industry and peer analysis. Ujjal spent seven years in equity, macro, and commodity research at various financial institutions in New York before joining BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald in 2017.
