Jon Aumann

Jon Aumann is the current Head of DevOps at ICX Media. Prior to this, they were the Director of Technical Operations at Remine from August 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they were the Head of DevOps at ICX Media, Inc. from July 2018 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were a Site Reliability Engineer - DevOps at Under Armour from February 2017 to July 2018, where they were responsible for Kubernetes cluster management and deployment, as well as facilitating the transition to AWS, CI/CD pipeline using Spinnaker, Jenkins and GitHub. Prior to that, they were a DevOps Engineer at AOL from October 2015 to December 2016. Prior to that, they were a DevOps Engineer at Millennial Media from November 2012 to October 2015, where they were responsible for automation of code deployment, as well as development and deployment of high availability dev and production server clusters. Jon has a wealth of experience with various back-end technologies such as MySQL, Bash, Ruby and Python scripting. Jon is also well-versed in configuration management and automation with Chef and Puppet. Jon is excellent at communicating with various stakeholders within a project and tailoring presentations to each necessary party. Jon has experience with Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, CouchDB, Zookeeper, Kafka and Storm.

Jon Aumann attended the Community College of Baltimore County, where they received an Associate of Arts in Computer Science. Jon then transferred to the University of Maryland Baltimore County and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.

They work with Alex Mitchell - Chief Product Officer, Dan Jolicouer - Chief Technology Officer, and Rebecca Bilbro - Chief Data Scientist. Their manager is Serge Matta, CEO & President.
