Shay Power

Shay Power currently serves as the Head of Strategic Policy at IDA Ireland, starting in March 2024, and holds a position in the Trade Investment Implementation Unit at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment since February 2022. Previously, Shay Power worked at IDA Ireland as a Business Development Manager from 1999 to February 2022, focusing on attracting foreign investment in the clean technology sector, and also served as Regional Manager promoting investment in Ireland's Mid West Region. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development from Dublin City University (2012-2014), an MBA from Ulster University (1988-1990), and a BSc in Food Science from University College Cork (1981-1985).
