Alicia Ramirez

Alicia Ramirez, M.A.Ed., has over a decade of experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Managing Director of College Readiness at IDEA Public Schools since June 2015. Prior roles within IDEA include Regional Director of College Success, Principal, Principal in Residence, Assistant Principal of Instruction, and Assistant Principal of Operations. Prior to IDEA, Alicia served as Dean of Students at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School from July 2013 to July 2015 and held the position of Vice Principal at Instituto del Progreso Latino from August 2007 to July 2013. Alicia Ramirez holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
