Phil Weisberg

Phil Weisberg is currently an advisor at Ideal Prediction. Phil has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including positions at Matzliach Capital and Thomson Reuters.

At Thomson Reuters, Phil served as managing director and global head of foreign exchange, rates, and credit. In this role, they were responsible for over $1 billion in revenue and was a member of the senior leadership team. Phil successfully turned around the FX business by modernizing the product portfolio and consolidating various offerings into one powerful platform. Phil also strengthened the talent roster and eliminated overlapping roles during integration, reducing costs while also improving engagement and retention.

Phil successfully navigated the transition to a regulated OTC market with higher standards by actively shaping financial regulatory reform. As a result of their efforts, Thomson Reuters received the earliest approval of the TR SEF by the CFTC. Phil also collaborated with the equity business on the strategy to deliver multi-asset execution management system (EMS) capabilities.

Phil’s extensive experience in the financial industry makes him a valuable asset to Ideal Prediction. Phil's deep understanding of the markets and ability to navigate complex regulation will help Ideal Prediction continue to grow and succeed.

Phil Weisberg received their MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in Finance and International Business. Phil also holds a BS from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Electrical Engineering.
