Clark Scheffy

Clark Scheffy is a seasoned designer and industry leader with extensive experience in creative direction and business management. Currently serving as a Partner and Managing Director at IDEO since September 2005, Clark leads a studio of 85 designers, blending creative vision with business development. Previous roles include freelance industrial designer from 2000 to 2007, working with notable clients such as Restoration Hardware and the Smithsonian Museum of American History, as well as a lecturer at California College of the Arts, where Clark co-led a course on human-centered design. Additionally, Clark has contributed to academia as a Media Specialist and Editor at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a Project Editor at IDG Books. Clark holds a BFA in Industrial Design from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
