Jonathan Wickremasinghe-Kuhn

Jonathan Wickremasinghe-Kuhn has dedicated their career to helping students navigate the college admissions process. Jonathan began their work in this field as an intern at the University of Southern California in May 2007. In their role as Senior Assistant Director of Dornsife Admission, they were promoted from Assistant Director in 2017. In this role, they met with prospective students to address questions related to admission, USC Dornsife majors and special programs, as well as academic and university life. Jonathan also reviewed admission files of prospective undergraduate students for scholarships and interviewed prospective freshman applicants for admission decisions.

In addition to their work with prospective students, Jonathan also managed USC Dornsife's website and social media accounts. Jonathan facilitated a 600% increase in social media followers through targeted campaigns. Jonathan also pioneered the use of video chats between prospective students and current Dornsife students. In partnership with Dornsife Communication, they produced marketing video content that represented USC Dornsife at domestic and international admission events.

Jonathan's commitment to helping students reach their academic goals has led him to their current position as Director of College Counseling at Idyllwild Arts. In this role, they continue to provide guidance and support to students as they navigate the college admissions process.

Jonathan Wickremasinghe-Kuhn received a Master of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, where they also received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing for the Screen and Television.
