Jim Schmaltz possesses extensive experience in the publishing and marketing realm, particularly within the health club industry. Since 2003, Jim has served as the Editor-in-Chief of CBI and Contributing Editor at IHRSA, where responsibilities included creating branded marketing content and launching the bi-annual magazine, Get Active!. Prior to this, Jim held the position of Editorial Director at Basic Media Group from March 2003 to September 2015, where three consumer publications were launched, and editorial duties encompassed everything from top editing to feature writing. Jim's career began at Weider Publications, where a decade was spent as Senior Editor and Web Editor.
