Robert P. Kelly

Mr. Kelly was Chairman and CEO of The Bank of New York Mellon until 2011. Prior to that, he was Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Mellon Bank Corporation, Chief Financial Officer of Wachovia Corporation, and Vice-Chairman of Toronto-Dominion Bank. Mr. Kelly was the chairperson of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation from 2012 until March 2018 and the chairman of the board of directors of Santander Asset Management from 2012 until December 2017.

Mr. Kelly holds a B.Comm. from Saint Mary’s University and an MBA from the Cass Business School, City University, London, and is a C.P.A and Fellow Chartered Accountant. Mr. Kelly has been awarded honorary doctorates from City University and Saint Mary’s University.
