Dawn Schroeder

Dawn Schroeder is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Director of Software Solutions and Engineering at the Illinois Housing Development Authority since February 2020. With extensive experience in software delivery and design, Schroeder oversees the development of custom solutions, vendor integrations, and manages various IT teams, including Application Development, Purchasing, Finance, and PMO. Previously, roles included Assistant Director of Application Development at Ruffalo Noel Levitz and Senior Director of Product Engineering at Career Education Corporation, where leadership involved managing large teams and overseeing substantial projects throughout the software development lifecycle. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Computer Science from Illinois State University.
