Dunni Cosey Gay

Dunni Cosey Gay is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in communications and community development. They served as the Director of Communications at the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership from 2013 to 2020, where they focused on connecting employers with job seekers and crafting innovative solutions. Subsequently, they held the position of Deputy Director of Communication for Cook County Government, emphasizing engagement for affordable housing and small business initiatives. Dunni then became the Director at The Preservation Compact, advancing strategies for preserving affordable rental housing from 2021 to 2023, and currently serves as Deputy Director at the Illinois Housing Development Authority. They are also pursuing a Civic Leadership Academy degree at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, after earning a Master's degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2014.
