Rebekka Darner

Rebekka Darner serves as the Interim Associate Dean of Academics at Mennonite College of Nursing, and has held various academic positions at Illinois State University since 2012, including Director of the Center for Mathematics, Science, & Technology, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor of Biology Education. Additionally, Rebekka is a Birth Assistant at the Birth Center of Bloomington-Normal and the owner of Birth with Bekky, LLC, where expertise as a hypnobirthing childbirth educator and perinatal yoga instructor is applied. Rebekka's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Science Education from UC San Diego, a Master's in Ecosystems Biology from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Western Illinois University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University-Mennonite College of Nursing.
