Heidi Cheng

Heidi Cheng is an experienced professional in the fields of human genomics and molecular biology, holding a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with a focus on Cancer Genetics from the National University of Singapore. From March 2022 to January 2024, Heidi served as a Manager for Sales Specialists in Human Genomics, Microbiology, and Agrigenomics at Illumina, overseeing business operations across South Asia and managing a team dedicated to reproductive and genomic health as well as oncology. Prior to this role, Heidi was an Executive Segment Business Manager at Illumina and worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Vela Diagnostics, where expertise in leading research teams contributed to the development of diagnostic kits. Educational background also includes a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
