Lisa de Vellis

Lisa De Vellis, PE, C.WEM, currently serves as a Contributor/Author at illuminem since August 2023 and is a Global Content Specialist at MODS. Lisa has also provided freelance communications consulting through Document Aid since June 2018, focusing on the humanitarian aid and environmental sectors while actively writing for the World Bank's International Finance Corporation on green cities. Previously, Lisa held the position of Communications Officer at Terre des Hommes UK from May 2019 to July 2021 and worked as a Specialist Advisor in Engineering for Eastbourne Borough Council from December 2013 to February 2017. Additional experience includes roles as Green Coffee Quality Manager at Nestlé, Compliance Director at Conway Family Wines, Engineer positions at Worrell Water Technologies and Riechers Spence & Associates, and a Teaching Assistant/Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Virginia.
