Chris Newton

Chris Newton is the VP of Engineering at Immersive Labs. Prior to joining Immersive Labs, Chris served as the Head of Engineering at Just Eat from August 2015 to November 2020. During their time at Just Eat, Chris was responsible for providing strong leadership and architectural direction to 15+ distributed teams, coaching and mentoring a team of 25 leaders, and leading technical due diligence for M&A activity.

Before Just Eat, Chris was an Engineering Manager at Innovation Group from August 2010 to August 2015. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer (Consultant) at Innov8ive Software from June 2009 to August 2010 and at Carbonflame Ltd from August 2008 to June 2009.

Chris Newton has a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise from the University of Gloucestershire.

They work with Lucian Lui - Chief Marketing Officer, Alice Dunn - General Counsel, and Stuart Laidlaw - VP, Customer Success. Chris Newton reports to James Hadley, CEO.
