Ana Rugamas, MCI, is an experienced interpreter and project manager with a focus on Spanish-English interpretation. Currently serving as a Court Interpreter for the Attorney General since February 2025 and as an IRB Accredited Spanish Interpreter for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada since January 2024, Ana has a robust background in interpreting for various sectors, including health and legal fields. Freelance work as a Conference Interpreter since June 2020 complements prior roles, including Lead Interpreter Recruiter and workshop facilitator at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services from March 2018 to April 2024, where Ana interpreted for refugee claims and court hearings. Additional experience includes project management for the York Region Food Network and Spanish interpretation for the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Ana holds a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting from Glendon Campus of York University and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from York University.
