Aaran Patel

Aaran Patel is currently serving as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology & Diabetes Mellitus at Imperial College London, working under Professor Waljit Dhillo and Dr. Ali Abbara since August 2022. Aaran also holds the position of Academic Clinical Fellow ST3 at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, beginning in May 2025, and has a significant editorial role as a Content Editor for the Society for Endocrinology's You and Your Hormones resource. Aaran's previous experience includes various roles as an Academic Clinical Fellow and Internal Medicine Trainee across multiple NHS trusts, focusing primarily on Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus. Aaran's education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences with Endocrinology, both obtained from Imperial College London.
