JUN ISHIHARA is a lecturer at Imperial College London since July 2020 and serves as a principal investigator at the National Cancer Center Research Institute from March 2024. As a founder, JUN ISHIHARA established HeioThera Inc. in April 2021, focused on developing tolerogenic cytokines for enhanced treatment of autoimmune diseases and diabetic wound healing. JUN ISHIHARA also co-founded ArrowImmune Inc. in October 2019, which aims to improve solid tumor treatments through innovative cytokine fusion strategies. Additionally, JUN ISHIHARA founded ScienceLounge LLC in December 2013, a science bar in Tokyo dedicated to scientific outreach. Prior research experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at The University of Chicago and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from 2014 to 2020. JUN ISHIHARA holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from The University of Tokyo and has also undertaken research at Tokyo Women's Medical University.
