Lead Developer, Mainframe Systems at Imperva

Kevin Pintar has a strong background in software development and mainframe systems. Kevin started their career in 1986 as a Sales Associate at Sears. From 1993 to 1995, they worked as a Product Developer at Pitney Bowes Software. Kevin then joined Platinum Technology as a Senior Developer, where they pioneered techniques that saved DB2 customers both in CPU and Elapsed time. Kevin continued their work at BMC Software as a Lead Product Developer from 1999 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Neon Enterprise Software, Inc. as a Product Author, focusing on extreme innovation involving various databases. Kevin then joined BMC Software again as a Principal Lead Developer, MainView for DB2 from 2010 to 2015. Currently, they are working at Imperva as a Lead Developer for Mainframe Systems since December 2015.

Kevin Pintar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Lincoln Way High School from 1984 to 1988. Kevin also has additional certifications in various IBM-related subjects, including IMS Transaction Manager Application Programming, IMS Database Fundamentals, IMS Fundamentals, and z/Architecture Assembler Language - Part 1: The Basics, which were obtained in 2023.
