Matan Hury has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Matan began their career in 2011 with the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Tech Support and Instructor, providing technical support for command and control systems and military networks. Matan also designed and delivered training materials on data security and IP services.

In 2015, Matan joined Bezeq as a Network Support Engineer, where they demonstrated a deep understanding of network architecture and successfully solved network problems for big customers.

Matan then joined Imperva in 2016, initially working as a QA Engineer focused on databases and networking. Matan tested different databases and platforms, including Oracle, DB2, and Linux.

Moving up within the company, Matan became a QA Team Lead, leading a team of seven testers and overseeing test planning and database configuration. Matan then transitioned to a DevOps Engineer role, building and maintaining CI pipelines and demonstrating expertise in scripting and configuration management tools.

Most recently, Matan served as a DevOps Team Lead at Imperva, where they planned, built, and maintained the automation infrastructure pipelines. Matan worked closely with development teams to manage their delivery cycles, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and SaltStack to create dedicated CI/CD flows.

Throughout their career, Matan has consistently demonstrated technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to different roles within the technology field.

Matan Hury holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The College of Management Academic Studies, obtained between 2021 and 2023. Prior to their MBA, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems at The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo from 2018 to 2020. Matan also pursued studies in Computer Science at both ORT Colleges from 2010 to 2011 and Amit Bar-Ilan from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco.
