Burns Mijanovich

Burns Mijanovich is currently the Director of Product Security Engineering at Indeed, where they lead initiatives to secure the software development lifecycle and manage vulnerability programs. With over 15 years of experience in product security and security engineering, Burns previously held roles at prominent companies including NBCUniversal, where they served as the Business Information Security Officer, and Sony, where they advanced through various engineering positions. They earned a Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance from George Mason University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University. Burns began their career in technical support and quickly transitioned into roles focused on security and network defense within the United States Navy.
