Molly Alter

Molly Alter is the Principal at Index Ventures. Molly has been in the investment field for many years, holding various positions at notable companies. Some of their more recent work includes their time as an investment team member at Insight Venture Partners, where they held board positions and investments with companies such as Hustle, Yoobic, Tractable, Lightricks, Glia, Aqua Security, Skupos, and Frame.io. Molly has also done M&A work with Ministry Brands and Appriss.

Prior to their work in investments, Molly had a background in marketing. Molly worked as a product marketing manager at Microsoft and also spent some time as a radio talk show host for "Alter Family Politics" on Sirius XM Radio Inc. Molly also has experience in teaching, having worked as a Spanish teacher at The East Harlem School.

Molly Alter graduated from Newark Academy before going on to study Molly'story of Science at Harvard University, where they also minored in Global Health and Health Policy.
