Sameer Shah

Sameer Shah is a highly experienced Senior Matte Painter and Generalist at Industrial Light & Magic since February 2016, with a versatile background as a Senior Digital Artist and Designer in self-employment from June 2006 to February 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Environment Generalist/Matt Painter at Sony Pictures Imageworks, contributing to projects such as "Hotel Transylvania" and "Arthur Christmas," and as an FX/Global Technical Director at DreamWorks Animation, where contributions spanned multiple notable productions, including "Kung Fu Panda" and "How to Train Your Dragon." Sameer holds a Master of Science in Visual Effects and Digital Imaging Design from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
