Sergio Tanikawa

Sergio Tanikawa is an experienced Engineering Manager with a tenure at Indústrias Romi since February 2007, where leadership roles include Head of the Engineering Department for the Machine Center Division. Sergio has expertise in project management, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, and implementing project execution plans while leveraging Six Sigma tools as a Black Belt to enhance problem-solving and quality improvement. With a solid foundation in mechanical engineering from the University of São Paulo and an MBA in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, Sergio has developed a strong skill set in communication, organization, and adaptability. Previous roles include Product Development Advisor and various trainee positions, along with international work experience in Germany, Italy, and Taiwan. Additionally, Sergio's early experience at Delphi Automotive Systems provided exposure to engineering applications for automotive sensors and actuators.
