Sara Samora

Sara Samora is a skilled journalist with extensive experience in various reporting and writing roles. Currently serving as a Reporter for Manufacturing Dive at Industry Dive since November 2022, Sara has previously worked as a Veteran Reporter for Stars and Stripes and contributed to Task & Purpose. Additional experience includes positions as a General Assignment Reporter at the Houston Business Journal and a Staff Writer at the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. Sara has also played a key role as a Social Media Specialist for NextOp Veterans, where significant increases in social media engagement and registrations were achieved. Earlier career highlights include counseling veteran students at the University of Houston, serving as a Staff Writer and News Editor for The Cougar, interning at Houstonia Magazine, and serving in the United States Marine Corps. Sara holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Journalism from the University of Houston.
