Dr. Bernd Waschneck

Dr. Bernd Waschneck serves as Senior Director of Advanced IC Design at Infineon Technologies since December 2014, leading a department of over 50 full-time employees across locations in Munich, Dresden, and Singapore. This role involves overseeing the Advanced IC Design Team, which focuses on power and sensor systems. Prior to this, Dr. Waschneck held several key positions at Infineon, including Director of System Innovation & Software in Dresden, where responsibilities included developing AI acceleration IP and leading a team of over 10 employees. Dr. Waschneck's earlier roles encompassed expertise in algorithms for AI acceleration, manufacturing analytics, and digitalization strategies within manufacturing operations. Educational achievements include a Dr.-Ing. in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, an Honors Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management, and a Master of Science in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
