Tonantzin (Toni) Esquivel

Tonantzin (Toni) Esquivel has a diverse work experience. In 2006, Toni worked as an Administrative Assistant III at Erick Nielsen Enterprises Inc, where they quickly advanced their position and used their bilingual skills to facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking employees and management. From 2013 to 2016, Toni was a Graphic Designer at The Sacramento Valley Mirror Newspaper, responsible for completing layouts, editing photographs, and assisting with writing and editing. In 2015, Toni served as a Lecturer at California State University, Chico, teaching the Introduction to Painting class and managing class information and grades online. Toni also worked as an Eligibility Specialist at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY from 2016 to 2017. Starting in 2018, Toni joined Joyce Family Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Assistant, contributing to the daily operations of the practice until 2019. Toni later became the Manager/Owner of Esquivel Ranch in 2017. Currently, Toni holds the position of a Solar Energy Consultant at Infinity Energy INC, and as of January 2022, has transitioned to the role of an Area Sales Manager.

Tonantzin (Toni) Esquivel completed their education at California State University, Chico. From 2007 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design & Studio Art, with a focus on Graphic Design and Fine/Studio Arts. In 2012, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Università degli Studi della Tuscia, where they focused on learning the Italian language. Later, from 2014 to 2018, Tonantzin pursued a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Painting at California State University, Chico.
