Matthijs van Den Bos

Matthijs van den Bos is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in blockchain, privacy solutions, and engineering management. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at ING since November 2017, Matthijs focuses on developing privacy-related blockchain solutions and improving security through Distributed Key Management in Rust. Matthijs has also led the design and implementation of the ZKFlow Protocol for private transactions using Zero Knowledge Proofs on the Corda platform and managed teams responsible for the ING Digital Channels platform. Prior roles include CTO of HQLAᵡ, Team Lead in Site Reliability Engineering at ING, and various engineering positions at Ibuildings and other firms. Matthijs holds expertise in technical project management, software architecture, and development processes, alongside authoring a book on the Zend Framework for PHP developers.
