Matthew Warrelman

VP, Procurement at Dexter Axle

Matthew Warrelman is the current Vice President of Procurement at Dexter Axle. Matthew has over 20 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management. Prior to their current position, Warrelman served as the Global Purchasing Vice President for Custom Truck One Source from February 2016 to February 2020. In this role, they led the sourcing team in cost reductions, supplier development, logistics, supplier quality, and product development.

From December 2002 to December 2015, Warrelman was the Global Procurement Director for Navistar. In this role, they were responsible for a $1.8 billion annual spend and managed 23 procurement professionals. Matthew was also a Six Sigma team leader responsible for delivering a spend analytics solution to the procurement team. Warrelman was key in developing talent within the procurement organization by identifying high potential candidates, developing 3-5 year career road maps, and aiding individuals to gain proper upper management exposure. Additionally, they were responsible for integrating the service parts business strategies into the greater procurement organization.

Prior to their role at Navistar, Warrelman served as Value Improvement Manager for the Crawler and ADT Division at John Deere from May 1999 to December 2002.

Matthew Warrelman attended Rockford High School for their secondary education. Matthew then went on to study Integrated Supply Management at Western Michigan University, where they earned a degree in Business Administration and Management.

Matthew Warrelman reports to Adam Dexter, President & CEO. They are on a team with Tim Meckstroth - VP of Engineering, Ernest Carey - Chief Operating Officer, and John Economou - Marine President & VP of Axle Operations.
