Ping Chen

Ping Chen currently serves as Vice President of Finance for Life Science Technology at Ingersoll Rand since 2025. Prior to this role, Ping held the position of Senior Finance Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2023 to 2025 and was Head of Corporate Finance at Eastman from 2020 to 2023. At Eastman, responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting and analytics, as well as strategic planning and capital allocation processes. Ping also served as Segment CFO for Advanced Material & Fiber, managing finance activities for a $5 billion specialty chemicals business. Previous experience includes roles at Dow from 2011 to 2020, where Ping was a Global Finance Leader and led finance activities for the Global Energy and Climate Change Business. Early career experiences include positions at ZTE and Walmart. Ping holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Ohio State University and a BS in Accounting from Hunan University.
