Christine Papai

Associate Director, Philanthropic Partnerships at Innovations for Poverty Action

Christine Papai is IPA's Associate Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, building philanthropic partnerships with individual donors and foundations to resource IPA's impact. Prior to her current role, Christine worked directly with IPA's Executive Director on external engagement, strategic partnerships, board management, organizational and strategic planning and internal communications. She also served as IPA Ghana's Deputy Country Director for three years, where she managed a portfolio of research projects, led health sector project development, and oversaw the country office's finance and operations teams. Before joining IPA, Christine served as an evaluator and data manager for the Minnesota Department of Health and as a manager for the relief organization Feed My Starving Children, where she provided leadership in the areas of food quality, product development, occupational safety, and staff training. Christine holds an MS in Mathematics, an MDP in International Development, and an MPH in Maternal & Child Health, all from the University of Minnesota, and a BA in Mathematics from Carleton College.
